Most "gold" jewellery is a thin layer of plating over brass — it flakes, greens your skin, and hates the ocean. We start with a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, then bond 18k gold to it using physical vapor deposition (PVD): a vacuum process that fuses gold at a molecular level instead of dipping it on.
The result wears 10–15x longer than standard gold plating, shrugs off chlorine and salt water, and never turns your skin green.
